A perennial brick wall. Coit Byrd CHARLES aka C.B. CHARLES claimed in the 1900 census in Louisville, KY to have been born in TX in May 1865. He claimed his father was from Vermont and his mother from New York. He married Amanda NOACK in Corsicanna, Nogales, TX in 1893. They were living in a boarding house in 1900. He abandoned his wife and young son probably before 1905. She remarried in 1907 in Oklahoma.
I'm trying to figure out where he came from and where he went. I have been unable to verify anything he said in the 1900 census except for his marriage.
