Sylvia O'Neil was born on August 10, 1954 in St Catherine Parish in Jamaica. She died on 18 September 2015 in Brampton, Ontario. She lived with Rupert Augustus Murray 1934-1987. It is extremely difficult to do any research in Jamaica. Jamaica only gained it's independence from Great Britain in 1962. It is a very poor country and it is only recently that Ancestry opened a couple of Offices there. And unlike Canada and the USA all records are listed through the mother of an individual and not the male figure in the family. To get a birth certificate for Rupert or Syvia I would nned to know their Mothers' names..something I don't have. And while there are some forums there I can't find any where I can display my sparse info that I have and hope that someone would recognize these folks and then contact me. Any ideas...Thank you,,
