This is something new for me. I've never tried to do any research in Jamaica but I'll give this a try. Rupert Augustus Murray was born on 2 Nov 1934 in St. Thomas in the British West Indies. This is now in Jamaica. Rupert had an older sister Ivy Murray. Rupert Augustus Murray died on 28 Dec 1987 in Hillsborough, Florida. I don't know how to go about looking for family histories in Jamaica but I'm sure there are lots of folks on Wiki who do. I think Rupert Augustus Murray is a rather unusual name so that might help. I'm not expecting much...but I am hoping. Happy Easter everyone. Now I have gotten a wee bit more information that might help but even then it isn't much. I got the death Certificate for Rupert and it states that his father was Theodore Murray of St. Thomas, Jamaica. Also Rupert's remains were sent to Mt Lebanus District in St Thomas for burial in the Family plot cemetery which suggests that Rupert had other family members there.
