Editing explanations for profile changes

Is it possible to edit explanations for a change to a profile? I forgot to add "Research notes", and when I went in, I could not save again without making changes to the profile itself (which I don't want to do).

You could just leave your digital signature beside the research notes change in question (with an explanation if needed), that will date the change.

Not sure what you meant, but I just added a date to the research note, which did change the profile, so I could save with the explanation.
digital signature - in edit mode you can type the 4 following marks   " ~~~~ " and it will leave your name, date, time stamp. You can't see it until you save. Give it a try, it comes in handy sometimes.

Glad to hear you were able to fix your issue !
Your "digital signature" is added by typing ~~~~ after your note/s (only works above the Sources header).  It will add your WT-ID# and a timestamp.  You can adjust how it shows by editing it after saving - or by making changes to your settings (I forget which one).
