Why won't the program accept a legitimate date?

I have several baptismal records marked 29 Feb 1782 (yep, a leap year), but the program will not accept them in any format. Perhaps leap years weren't recognized then, but it still belies the fact that the records show the date. Suggestions (other than just listing the year, and putting the real info in the bio)?

I'm pretty sure the leap years did not include 1782.

1780 Tuesday, Feb 29
1784 Sunday, Feb 29
The last major calendar reforms in the English-speaking world were in 1752 so leap years were certainly recognized and, as Melanie indicates, 1782 was not a leap year.

Do you have images of the records? Perhaps they have been mistranscribed.
If it’s a transcribing error, then it was done for two separate baptismal records in a row. I ended up creating profiles for them just using the year. Fisher-32882, Oosterhout-340
I will admit that I did not stop to divide 1782 by 4! 8-) this obviously was a double erroneous transcription, with two different people.
