One of my links, Ashton-863, has a source, but I am unable to add it to the profile due to lack of pre-1500 certification. I put the link in the comment section of the profile. Is this sufficient for purposes of the game?

Yes! That is great, thank you.

Can someone help me? A month ago I was the X times great granddaughter of Robert the Bruce through Cuthbert Grant. Now, suddenly, I'm only a 4th cousin and the connection isn't going through Cuthbert Grant any more.

I have a copy of the original lineage that Wikitree had given me for being Robert the Bruce's great granddaughter, if that would help.

From what I can see, you descend from Angelique Delorme (Delorme-9) and her first husband Antoine Bonneau. Alexander McGillis, her 2nd husband, descends directly from Robert the Bruce.
Hi, Jean! Thanks so much for replying. Is there an email address where I could send you a picture of the tree? It's actually through Marie Grant, daughter of Cuthbert Grant Sr. Or atleast it use to be. Suddenly the lineage from Wikitree doesn't seem to work anymore.

The following came in a WikiTree eMail:

¶ Scotland declared independence on 6 April 1320 with Robert the Bruce as king. Is your family closer to Bruce — at just [https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Connection&action=connect&person1Name=Bruce-129&person2Name=McLeod-9186 20 family relationships] spanning 700 years — or King Edward I of England, aka "Longshanks", aka "Hammer of the Scots"?

1. [https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Connection&action=connect&person1Name=Bruce-129&person2Name=McLeod-9186 Stephen McLeod to Robert the Bruce]

2. [https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Connection&action=connect&person1Name=Plantagenet-2&person2Name=McLeod-9186 Stephen McLeod to Edward Longshanks]

Can #1 or #2 be [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Connection_Combat#verification verified]? See if [https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1726812/declaration-arbroath-connection-combat-robert-longshanks you can do it]!

¶ This connection starts with Margaret McKeen [McKeen-625] my 2nd great grandmother. I have her ancestry back to 17th century Londonderry, Ireland from published genealogies. How reliable is the trace back to Robert Bruce and Edward I?
