Can someone who is familiar with Scotland or Australia help confirm if Mary McLeod (born around 1819) who married Donald McKinnon and emigrated to Australia in 1840 is also the daughter of Malcolm McLeod and Sarah Anderson? I'm not finding any evidence other than they were born the same year. (I've seen a few trees online implying that Mary and Donald were married in 1834 in Tyree, but that seems kind of far from Gorbals where Mary is supposed to have been born, and from Portree, where their son Archibald was born. Plus the only record I can find on Scotland's People that supports this is for a marriage between a Donald MacKinnon and Mary MacKinnon, not McLeod.)

Robert Brown is married to Jane (Greenwell) Brown and they have a daughter named Annie Fowler (Brown) Sumner.  She is Sting's Great Grandmother.

I looked Annie up on the GRO register and it says her mother's maiden name is Broomfield, not Greenwell.

Jane is 39 on the 1851 census, which means she would have been 55 when Annie was born.  Jane's entry on WikiTree has been altered to something more 'suitable', which can't be right.

This is rather annoying as I was SO CLOSE!

Any advice would be very helpful.

I think we should probably change Annie's parents to Robert Hedley Brown and Sarah Broomfield (based on the GRO record, and census records attached here: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/K4R1-5LP) or at the least, detach her from Robert Brown and Jane Greenwell (unless someone has strong evidence for it.)

There is a locked profile in my line to Sting, which contains no biography. Because it is locked, I cannot add or edit. Bourque-318. The line is 24 degrees. If I eliminate her, it jumps to 26 degrees.
