How to find profiles of all my direct ancestors

My cousin has asked me which of our direct ancestors were slave holders.  I remember seeing an app that listed only direct ancestors, numbered according to generation, and with links to profiles.  If I could find that app, I could check the profiles for generations before the Civil War to help her out.

I cannot find that app any more.  Can you help me find it?  I only want direct ancestors.

I think what you are looking for is the Ahnentafel Ancestor List. This is available from the Tree Apps menu on you profile page. It will give you an ahnentafel numbered list of your ancestors separated by generation, with links to their profiles. The basic report is 10 generations, but you can increase this.

Hi Peggy- perhaps 'Compact Tree' is what you are after?

Head to any profile, and from the menu dropdown headed with that profile's Wikitree ID (mine is Spring-570), select Compact Tree.

Here is mine: Spring-570 Compact Tree.

Here is yours: Berntson-18 Compact Tree.

There are a variety of other tools in that menu that might help you with this task, too.

Good luck with your research!
