Parents of Henry J. Francis Stillwell 1825-1864

Question

I have a relative from Burke County, North Carolina, named Henry J. Stillwell who died in the civil war.  He is my gg-grandfather.  He was married to Angelina Hildebrand.

I have searched for years trying to find his father Jacob L. Stillwell born 1740,  Unfortunately, there are numerous Jacob Stillwells.  Information is very scarce but if you have any advice or information, I would greatly appreciate your sharing with me.

Hi Bernice, if Jacob born 1740 was Henry's father he would be 85 years old when Henry was born.  Perhaps a typo?

FamilySearch suggests his father Jacob was born in 1770.
