I am unable to find the father of Anders Andersson - 18545 who was born 7 May 1760 in Bärby, Västra Götaland, Sweden.

His mother is Cesela Inger Andersdotter- 12484 who was born 11 May 1730 in Valla Tjorn, Goteburg Och Bohus, Sweden

I can understand why you can't find his father. He is born "oäkta" - out of wedlock and no father is mentioned in his birthrecord. I attach the source for his birth to his profile.

There is a lot harder to get information about the father when the child is born outside marriage. Sometimes this led to court, but there is no easy way to figure out if that is the case with your ancestor. You have to read a lot of protocols from "häradsrätten/tingsrätten" and this is the time where the writing takes time to figure out. Perhaps AI will help sometimes in the future but we are not there jet.

If this is your direct line of paternal ancestor could dna be a way, but it is also a lot of work.

Sorry for not been able to give you a more incurring message. ❤

Thank you Kerstin for your explanations.

I have opened the birth and death records for Anders Andersson but as they are in Swedish I do not understand, but thank you for supplying.

I have done my DNA but this has not revealed more about my paternal blood line.
I can give you a translation but not right away my computer is not working for the moment. ❤

I updated his profile with the translation. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Andersson-18545

This is your family - he who have published this is probably also related to him  and perhaps he can help you read the legal-documents to see if a father is mentioned somewhere.
