Did the explorer Sir Alexander Mackenzie have a daughter named Julie?

Her profile is kind of barebones, but Julie (McKenzie) Laveille, born around 1805 in Canada, is said to be the daughter of the explorer Alexander Mackenzie, and I'm not having luck finding evidence of that. The closest is her scrip application stating that her father was a Scot named Mackenzie and her mother was a Metis woman named Marie.

Here are some articles I've found mentioning his Metis wives and children, but there's nothing firm on Julie:

This article by historian Dorthea Calverley mentions "Black" McKenzie, who lived in the Peace River region of B.C. and claimed to be a descendant of Alexander.

This article published by the B.C. Metis Federation mentions Alexander's wife who was known as The Catt, and who died around 1804. They believe that The Catt was the mother of Alexander's son Andrew, who became a fur trader.

This article from ABCBookworld mentions that in 1799 Alexander sent money to his cousin to support someone named Kitty, who they posit may be the daughter of The Catt: "In 1799, Alexander Mackenzie discreetly sent fifty pounds to Roderic to provide for a "Mrs. Mackenzie" of Trois Rivieres, adding, "This sum I mean to continue to her annually while Kitty remains single." Possibly Kitty was a daughter from his marriage to the Catt. While attending the unveiling of the Mackenzie Monument at Bella Coola in 1927, Provincial Archivist John Hosie met a young man in the area who claimed to be a descendant of the explorer."

This Rootsweb page mentions Julie (see "Some notes on descent from Sir Alex"), but the article from the Clan Mackenzie newsletter that they cite for evidence only mentions children Andrew and Maria (who married Robert Monro).

Is any one interested in helping to untangle this?

When i was working on Vancouver’s tree (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Vancouver-1) i found the book very helpful piecing together his tree with detailed descriptions of interactions amongst his family. https://open.library.ubc.ca/collections/bcbooks/items/1.0221858#p552z-4r0f:

Alexander is mentioned in the book, sorry don’t have time right now to look further
