Missing Family Member, was he found?

Question

My GG Grandfather went missing in June 1914 in Detroit Michigan. I have scoured newspapers, find a grave, death certificates and can find any information on whether he was ever found. I have no death date or burial information. There is no one in the family tree to know, and I am not sure how to proceed looking.

Robert Hall born in Hardin County OH around 1858. Moved to Detroit 6 weeks before he went missing. His daughter Adella Waters lived in Shiawasee county

My GG Eric J Hall born in LaGrande, Oregon 1892 and Died in Yakima, Wa. His father was Arthur Anderson Hall born in 1848 Crawford, PA and His father John D Hall born in Fairfield, VT

I did some digging in the census records for Robert Hall. I didn't find much but you're welcome to them. I would try DNA route and work my way backwards.

Not a dna relation unfortunately.. and he had only 1 daughter by great grandmother who adopted my grandfather
