US Civil War 2024 February Connect-a-Soldier Challenge [closed]

Question

We've got soldiers, lots of soldiers, who haven't a single family member connected to them, but we have profiles that show they have family to add.

So our challenge this month (From the 1st to the 28th of February) is to Connect-a-Soldier to his family.  Many of the soldiers will connect to profiles that already exist.

On our USCW Challenge Worksheet we have the sign-up chart, and below the chart groups of soldiers to pick from. Members can then pick out soldiers they want to work on.  Members will CUT and PASTE the soldiers into the chart.  The Challenge Tracker will again be used to record new profiles created.

UPDATE;  17 February we have 36 members working on connecting soldiers.  The Challenge Tracker shows that 1,466 profiles have been created, there are more, because some of our members haven't been using the Tracker.  Thank you so much for connecting our Soldiers!!!!

I guess the challenge ended yesterday? Well, I'll keep working on my guys a bit longer. Been working on them most of this leap day.

A bit early, but I have connected Orrin D Eaton and Charles P Eaton to their families. I forgot to use the Challenge Tracker but at least they are now connected.

I've been adding Civil War soldiers from my hometown in Massachusetts. Many are still unconnected. Could I add them to this challenge to be connected?

Hi E, you can add the ones that mention having family, onto the bottom of the list I have going, unless you want to do them by surname letter, whatever works for you.  I might already have some of them listed.

Hey Pam!  Do we use the tracker for each profile created for a soldier (parent, sibs, etc.) like the Connect-a-Thon or is it just once per soldier?

For each new profile you create you can use the tracker, just like the Connect-a-Thon.
