I don't have a FindMyPast subscription, and would like to add the text from an immigration source to Henry Charles Drinkwater profile.

It doesn't say a lot I'm afraid, just that he's married and adult, and his ticket was no. 35.

On your profile, you have a Charles Drinkwater born in 1855 in Bedfordshire, and  Henry Drinkwater born in Shropshire in 1855. What evidence is there that these are the same people?

I've changed the father, Henry Charles, birth place to Wales from his naturalization record.  The son, Charles Henry, was born on the 16th Nov 1879 at 16 Mount Pleasant, Saltney (saltney is on the border of North Wales, UK, and if searched this address will come up as Flintshire, North Wales, not Chester Cheshire England) He was Baptized 18th December 1879 at St John the Baptist Church, in the parish of Chester St John, Chester, Cheshire, England.

Parents, Henry Charles and Emma, and Charles Henry, were enumerated in the 1881 census of Cheshire, England.

The same group is named in immigration records from 1892.

You still have a census from Bedfordshire on the profile though, that is confusing. The profile probably needs tidying a bit so that others can see the thoughts on his origins and are better able to help.
The 1861 Bedfordshire census is for possible parents (Ancestry has this as his parents); his birth year is about right, but birthplace is too far away.
Name H. C. Drinkwater
Age 21
Birth Year Abt 1854
Birth Place Ludlow, Salop
Desertion Date 14 Aug 1875
Desertion Place Limerick
Publication Date 30 Aug 1875
Regimental Number 1604
Military Corps Royal Artillery

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/discoveryui-content/view/161441:60961 Fold3 doesn't have any more than that, that i've found.

That Potters Bar census does seem to be the right family as the 1871 census says Charles (father) is a missionary (which he is on the marriage record) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VBNH-GX7

Perhaps Henry was born in Ludlow but had the birth registered in Bedfordshire? It's all very odd.
I was thinking that if Caroline came from Shropshire, maybe she had the baby at her parents, Bitterley is right next door to Ludlow, but didn't register the birth until they were in Bedfordshire.
And then in 1871 his parents were in Cheshire, but he wasn't on the census as he was in the army. Married in Chester, which is right next foor to Flintshire (literally just across the R. Dee), so they could have been living there and had son Charles in Wales.
