Fold3 record list him with serving with the Connecticut Volunteers, Captain Noah Lester. Captain Noah Lester was with the 1st Regiment of Light Dragoons and later on May 17, 1815 it was consolidated with the Corps of Artillery.

The family record of enlistment indicates he served 5 years until August 23, 1815. That would put his enlistment around 1810 to 1815.

I added a War of 1812 Sticker and two categories Artillery Corps, United States Army, War of 1812 and 1st Regiment of Light Dragoons, United States Army, War of 1812
