How do I find all profiles that contain the image {{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}}

To avoid the winged baby face I was using the image {{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}} which was the Ribbon. This is now appearing as the winged face. How can I find all the WT Profiles I created that have this image so I can change them back to the Ribbon (using {{Died Young|Ribbon}})?

For profiles on your watchlist, you could open your watchlist, skim for pairs of life dates that are close together, then open those profiles and edit the stickers.
Thanks Ellen.

I'll have to do that, along with the many hundreds on my Extra Watchlist.
Thanks for posting this. I hadn't noticed yet that this happened. Had to change 108 templates (should probably have been a job for EditBot).

You can add your image to the list Gary Burgess is collating  on his previous post here.

If you want to change the image on all the profiles you created that use the Died Young template then you can use WikiTree+ to get a list of the relevant profiles. Here is the query to use (just press the blue "Get profiles" button to generate the list) - https://plus.wikitree.com/default.htm?report=srch1&Query=CreatedBy%3DCreator_Simons-4207+template%3D%22died+young%22&MaxProfiles=5000&Format=&PageSize=50.

Paul, that gives all the profiles with the Died Young template for the creator. But is there a way just to get the ones with a specified value of the image= parameter? (I spent a long time struggling with WikiTree Plus syntax trying to do that, without success.)

Jim, in theory there should be, using TemplateText. However like you I spent a while trying to get it to work without success, so in the end I decided that producing the full list was the best I could manage.

I've managed to get a slightly more focussed query to work, but I still can't work out how to get it to search for the full image name. It is at least possible to search for the end of the image name "13.png" using https://plus.wikitree.com/default.htm?report=srch1&Query=CreatedBy%3DCreator_Simons-4207+template%3D%22died+young%22+TemplateText%3D%2213.png%22&MaxProfiles=5000&Format=&PageSize=50.

I made a [temporary] revision to the Died Young template so that when we click on the image in the sticker, we will be taken to the image page for the image that is specified in the coding for that particular implementation of the sticker.

For stickers that were created with the default image, this will not indicate which value of the "default" the user intended to use, but if the sticker was added or edited to use the default image between 31 July and 4 October 2023, it can be assumed that the user intended to use the Ribbon image.

Thanks Paul for the above improvement. I've asked Aleš for a full solution.

Thank you all for your responses. I was after a WT+ search like the examples provided. It be useful for other searches so I will need to learn how to modify that to find other profile subsets.

The search by Aleš Trtnik looks like it brings back all my profiles with a Died Young sticker, not just those using the "{{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}}" (there should only be one using this now as I changed the other 80 to the new "{{Died Young|Ribbon}}")

Hi Ellen,

When I first used the {{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}} at the start of 2023 it was pointing to the ribbon. It now points to Died_Young-1, which is the winged image. I've changed all of the ones I've used so it's not a problem for me, but could be an issue for others who used the Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png.
Hi, Bruce. I understand your concern. There was similar consternation earlier in the summer when the sticker image was changed from "Flying Baby" to "Ribbon" on something like 170,000 profiles where the sticker had been in place for as long as 6 years.

The Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png image still exists. It's one of a number of duplicated image files that hold copies of the pastel pink and blue ribbon image. That image can now be produced in the sticker with the code {{Died Young|Ribbon}}. With the change in coding that allowed that kind of designation, we lost the ability to specify alternative file names with the string "image=". There are now 8 different image options for the {{Died Young}} sticker and I expect that other options will be added. I intend (and indeed I have started)  to help other members with the edits needed to convert their stickers to the new format.

Bruce, regarding your comment about the search from Aleš bringing back all your profiles with a Died Young sticker, not just those using the "{{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}}".

WikiTree+ uses an extract of the data that is taken each weekend, then needs a day or two to do all the data processing. So at the moment the report will still be based on the situation from last weekend. If you try the search again on Wednesday then it should reflect all the recent changes you have made. (You can always see which data is being used for the report if you scroll to the very bottom of the page, where it will say something like "Date of report: 2023-10-07 13:27:51 Date of Data: 1 Oct 2023")

I'm struggling with the WT+ syntax here. If I use:

CreatedBy=Creator_Simons-4207 template="died young" templatetext="Meet_our_Members_Photos 13.png" (space before 13) it brings back all the profiles (96) with the died young sticker, even those only with the {{Died Young|Ribbon}}. The query seems to just ignore the whole templatetext= argument.

If I use:

CreatedBy=Creator_Simons-4207 template="died young" templatetext="Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png" (- before 13) it brings back no results, even though there is one profile (Simons-4732) that uses:

{{Died Young|image=Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png}}

Bruce, all WikiTree Plus searches use stored data, which is only refreshed once a week. So you won't see the result of changes you've made until the next update, probably about Tuesday. The date of the dataset is shown at the bottom of each search results page.

Edited to add: I see that Paul already said that two comments back :-)

You can search for text in a profile using the Bio Check app. (I just tried it to double check, and searching for the sticker with a particular image parameter works.)

Thanks for this suggestion Harry. It's a great way to find profiles on one's watchlist with a particular image parameter.

Maybe Kay Knight or other developers could extend searching for biography text like this to the WBE extra watchlist as well.

Thanks Harry. How did you do this in BioCheck? I put "Meet_our_Members_Photos-13.png" in the Search biography for box but didn't get any matches.

Bruce, as Harry predicted, BioCheck successfully found the string when I tried it on this orphaned profile:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Veenendaal-49

Are you choosing "Check watchlist" for "How to find profiles", and setting the profile count limits high enough?

Thanks. Changing to "Check watchlist" worked. Is there a way to get BioCheck to check the Extra Watchlist?

I see I can add a WT+ search to the BioCheck to get all my created profiles. Cool!

There is no way to get BioCheck to check or search the profiles on the WikiTree Browser Extension extra watchlist at present. I have suggested this as an enhancement to WBE.
