Referencing to written private letter

My mother left handwritten information in Polish about her and my father's family. Mostly how family members were related, when they were born, and where they were living. She passed away in 2003.

Can I  refer to that letter? I made a digital copy of it (it has 6 pages). Should I upload all pages as images and refer to them as such? Should I translate the text and refer to the translation or both? Other suggestions for referencing private written letters?

You can create a free-space page for the letter and then refer back to it for each profile.  You can upload the page images and also transcribe both in Polish and English. Then you can link any profiles sourced from the letter to the free-space page.

Here's a link to the free-space Help page: Help:Free-Space Profile (wikitree.com)

It's not as intimidating as it looks.  Basically you just need to name the page and enter any text and images you want to include.
