Following from the creation of the project it asked me to make a post here. I am a descendant of Indo-Telugu migrants who emigrated from Madras, India to Mauritius in the 1870's and have decided to kickstart a Mauritian project as none exist.

Looking to connect with anyone else who is interested in mapping their Mauritian ancestry to better learn and understand the culturally rich and diverse population that Mauritius is. Looking to connect with those that have contact also with the Mahatma Gandhi institute in Moka that maintains the archive as I have been unsuccessful.
