The goal of this project is to trace the ancestry of the Conybeare (MANY spelling variants) and Collibeare (MORE spelling variants!) lineages and to identify possible convergences, or even where the transposition of 'L' to 'N' occurs in the many spellings occurs (this transposition is apparently common in the Devon dialect).
