Marriage Record Help (1730s, Devon, UK)

Hi there,

Making an open appeal to anyone who can find the marriage record between George Conybere (ID below) and Mary (unknown LNAB). This is a last ditch attempt; I've trawled through FindMyPast, FamilySearch, and the Devon Family History Society's records and I've come up with diddly-squat.

The marriage would've been in the Sandford parish of Devon where George and Mary's children were born. There are noted large concentrations of relatives in the neighboring parishes of Morchard Bishop and Crediton, as well as lesser concentrations in Thelbridge, Lapford, Poughill, and Colebrook.

The date figures to be before their first child in Sandford (1740). I have no fix yet on George's birth record, but there are possibilities I am working on.

Thank you for any and all help!

Perhaps you have already checked - but if not, it might be worth contacting the Devon County Archives. They have the Sandford Parish Marriage records here. Copy register of Marriages (swheritage.org.uk)

Thank you Frances, I sent an inquiry in to see if they've got anything.
