not on trusted list

Question

I recently asked for and received help in uniting two profiles of myself.  I appreciate the fix.  But, now I cannot edit profiles of people for whom I am the profile manager.  I tried to get Matilda Burge (Burge 980) and Cecelia Edmonds (Edmonds 1782) listed as mother and daughter as they should be.  I get the "not on trusted list" message.  Apparently the system no longer knows me though it lets me in and no longer sends me duplicate messages.

Hi Mary. There has been a recently reported bug where a "not on trusted list" error message wrongly appears and profiles cannot be connected. For example see this G2G question. In one case the problem had gone away by the following day. Would you like to try again soon, and let us know if you then succeed?

Just to check, when you tried to link them as mother and daughter, did you enter their ids in the format Burge 980 and Edmonds 1782, like you have in your question, or as Burge-980 and Edmonds-1782? You need to use the "-" character in the middle of the id or the system gets confused about which profile you are referring to.

The profiles Burge-980 and Edmonds-1782 both show you White-26611 as Profile Manager which is included in the Trusted List.

Maybe after the merge there was need of a bit time to fulfill the background jobs.

Please try again, being sure to take the IDs with hyphens and not with blanks, according to the suggestion of Paul.
