This looks like a lot of fun.

How will the athletes be chosen for the CC7 x7 Wall climb? Will each team get a set of athletes from different countries? Will there be help to use databases from different countries if some of the team members are not familiar with a particular country's databases?

The Events Committee found or created the profiles for the athletes we'll be using in the challenge. They come from a handful of countries that are known for having good records for research. With the way we are forming the teams, there should be a good mix of WikiTreers from various locations so you should have people on your team who would be familiar. Also, each team will be given 4 athletes to pick from a few days before the event. It'll be up to each team to decide if they want to focus on just one of them or work on multiple.
Excellent, thank you!
How many people do you anticipate each team will have?

I love the idea of randomly assigned teams! What a great way to meet other WikiTreers. And I'm excited about participating in three different events in one weekend. I love the Aspiring Aspens page, and can't wait to see all the other pages.
