ONE of my several "dead end" lines is Notmeyer with several variations in the spelling.
One of my great x3 grandmothers Ann Catherine Notemeyer, Notmeyeu/ Motneyeu/Notmeyer (10 Feb 1789 to 20 Mar 1876) was married to Thomas Eldred Sweet. They lived in Vermont.
and:
Mary Elizabeth Notmeyer (about 1796 in Canada to 13 August 1871 in Vermont) was married to my great x3 Grandfather Silas Briggs Ovitt.
