The weekend is over.
Thank you everyone for your hard work!
Goal : Add military stickers to profiles in the USBH "Needs Military Sticker" Category in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
Instructions:
- Post an answer below to let us know you're participating.
- Find a profile from the Needs Military Sticker category to work on.
- On the edit tab of the profile, click the save draft button so others know that profile has been claimed.
- Find the correct military sticker based on the war they served in (or use the Veteran Recognition sticker for anyone who doesn't fit one of the war stickers). Be sure to carefully read the directions for each sticker - many have parameters that require exact naming of a military branch, regiment, or side of a war or else a category error is created.
- If a source isn't available on the profile to fully fill in the sticker, please find one and add it to the profile. If you can't find a source that gives all of the information, fill it out as fully as possible.
- Please fill in the branch, unit, and start and end dates when known.
- Remove the Needs Military Sticker category once the sticker has been added.
- Please double check after saving your work that you haven't left any red linked categories.
- If you have any problems with categories, please post here and someone will help you.
- Please add a sticker for any special medals or the Roll of Honor (KIA, MIA, POW's, etc.) if you come across that in your research.
We will not be tracking individual scores, but you can keep track of your own contributions and comment on your post at the end of the weekend just for fun. Challenge runs from Friday morning (May 12th 2023) whenever you would like to begin and end Sunday evening (May 14th 2023) at midnight, US Eastern time zone.
