Just to checking to see if there are any objections to adding a profile for Lawrence Sowthey/Southey?
He is the father of Thomas Southey (Southey-573).
I will be using a scan of his will on www.ancestry.co.uk as the main source.
It states that Lawrence was a clothier of Culmstock, Devon, England.
The will includes:-
Robert and Richard Southey (his brothers).
John, Thomas, Richard, William, Robert, Peter, Lawrence, Agnes, Mary and Elizabeth (his children).
Agnes (his wife).
The will has a probate date of 20 Nov 1646.
