Death Place Advice before editing this pre-1700 Mumford profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Thomas Mumford III. This is what I can add:

  • Place of death, Groton Connecticut

These are the sources I am using:

  • Information supplied by information in his Bio. regarding his estate.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

I see that the source listed on the profile does give his exact death date as well as the location. The information box for his death should be updated to this information if its correct. Might just be overlooked by the PM, but maybe you could ask them if there is perhaps a reason for the omission?

Otherwise I would say I think it would be fine to go ahead. As for contacting a project , here is a help page that might answer that question,  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles
