I started working on an unconnected profile of Edmond Lapointe (Lapointe-178), which got me looking at the rest of the family as well. I first cleaned it up using AGC. I found his baptismal record which gave his mother’s LNAB to be Leclerc.
When I was looking for his parents’ marriage record I came across his marriage record in 1888 where he wed Marie Celanire March dit Lepine. This does not match with his profile. In addition, the Family Search link in the See Also links to an Edmond Lapointe with totally different parents.
I first thought the information on Edmond was wrong but I’m now thinking that two Edmond’s may possible be mixed up. What is the best way to handle this?
