150,000 Profiles for USBH. Thanks to all of you, we did it!

Question

A huge thank you to all of WikiTree for helping the US Black Heritage Project to reach 150,000 profiles in 2022 six weeks early! 

We couldn't have done this without the dedicated members of the project alongside the collaboration and help from all of you! 

Thank you for adding the {{African-American Sticker}} to profiles for Black Americans as you create them. This helps us count, improve, and find the profiles. It's also a great visual indicator of our representation which the descendants of these families love. 

We're heading for 250,000 (quarter of a million!) profiles by the end of 2023. I don't know about you, but this goal makes me very excited! The more profiles we have, the faster we can connect new members to the Tree.

Onward and upward!!!  We can do it!  So happy to be part of this project.  It is so satisfying to know I am helping to bring recognition to the enslaved so their descendants can find and connect to them.  Love the collaboration among our members too.

I felt badly because I was late to the 150,000 party, but yesterday I discovered a bunch of family on my husband’s side that are only CC-5 for me. So I’ll not only be able to help push us toward 250,000, but I’ll be increasing my CC7 number at the same time.
