Orphaned profiles: Is it possible to find out who created a profile that is now orphaned?

There is an orphaned profile for William McGill Nutt with parents of the sames names and locations as my 3* GF. I have seen this link elsewhere but unable to find 'evidence'. This profile mentions a family bible and if the original creator matched someone in the family (now deceased perhaps) then it could be evidence I need.

I believe it might help me connect it to my family and might be able to adopt it.

Yes, you can see in the change history. Click on the "Changes" tab and scroll down to the beginning of the history.

Thank you Rob, and every one else who voted for his answer.
You also have to look at any merges that were done.  Because the merges should be done to the 'lowest sequence' the person that created the profile first is not necessarily the person that has added the most sources or had the most knowledge about a profile.  The merged away profiles can also have some knowledge that is seen only in their changes log also.
Thank you Linda, it does seem that a later editor mentioned the family bible. I have written to him - fingers crossed.
