Which Joseph Hopkins spouse is accurate ? (Rhode Island)

This individual is listed as having two husbands named Joseph Hopkins, but it is unclear which one is the correct spouse - I am unsure of early sources in Rhode Island that could help clarify this.

Hi, Lauren. I’ll look at this tomorrow. The later Joseph is said in the bio to be son of the elder but is not actually connected as the son. There may be some other issues as well. - T Stanton, Rhode Island Project

Lauren, there was a spouse attachment error creating a mother also being attached as wife of her son. Furthermore, on this Joseph Hopkins (1667-1735), it appears the marriage dates and distribution of children is in error unless the information presented in Arnold V1:124 is in error. I noted the latter on the profile.

So many members have been changing these profiles without any discussion with the profile managers (at least without making Comments on the profiles) it is hard to tell how far the errors in the family may go.
