Thanks for updating details of William Hards born in Sussex. We are slowly pulling the net in to join the huge Hards family in England. I'm trying to find the links too from my family originating in Surrey (ie William Hards b.1818 Ewell, Surrey, England and his father James Hards b.1792 Epsom, Surrey, England). All of our Hards family go back into the old Hardres family in Kent it seems. Your connections are from Billingshurst, Sussex and are not far from Epsom and Ewell. There has to be a link.
