It would be a nice tribute to Finbar's memory if we could connect him. I had a quick look when I learned of his death last week but couldn't see any obvious connection path.
Finbar may have left us a clue in this 2015 comment at
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bartholomaeus-3
"Thank you for editing Catherine Cronin's details. My gx3 grandfather Timothy Mahony married Margaret Cronin in Killarney in 1818. She gave her address as Ballycasheen, Killarney."
Catherine is Cronin-353 (and is connected) and Margaret is Cronin-351.
The record of Catherine's marriage (in the Established Church in 1852) at
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/1623/images/31280_197992-00088
identifies her father as John Cronin, a builder.
Margaret's marriage (in the Catholic Church) is at

churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie has Killarney baptisms back to 1785.
When Finbar and I corresponded about a small DNA match back in 2016, he wrote:
"Perhaps I should expand the tree on wikitree ... I have a fuller tree on www.genesreunited.co.uk."
Finbar's triangulated DNA matches with several of my cousins suggest that he was related to my GGGgrandfather Thomas Parker (Parker-41506) but we never got any further than that.
