Douglas Ell Gibbs (abt. 1917 - abt. 1972) WWII Male Nurses. U.S. Army

Question

It appears he was in the state hospital school of nurses but was called by selective service into the army. Birth date is January 22, 1917 and Date of death is August 3, 1972 per the U.S. department of veterans affairs BIRLS on ancestry. We need a place of death. An obituary would be great.

He may have married. There is a record for Douglas E. Gibbs marrying in Biddeford Maine, May 18, 1943, to Stella Daoutakos. They had a daughter Sharon, born 1944. Sharon married George Strangas in 1967
