I’d like to find her obit if available. Her exact dates of birth and death. Also was she married to an Adams? Any collaboration in her genealogy and getting her better connected is appreciated.

This is great didn’t have Dorothy Sullivan’s obit or son Robert’s obit. We have many Carpenters on this side of the family

There are no sources, but one of the family trees on ancestry.com has her born on February 18, 1894, in Brandon, New York and dying on June 18, 1960, in Black River, New York.

There is a notice of death in The Post Standard (Syracuse, New York) on 20 June 1960 but all it says is "Black River - Mrs. Matie Adams, 66." This is on Newspapers.com.

That would be my guess. I see her still with Leslie on the 1950 census, so she must have married an "Adams" after Leslie died in 1954 and before her death in 1960.
