We now have an African Ancestry sticker

Question

I'm happy to announce we now have an African Ancestry sticker! 

You can place it on a profile using the code {{African Ancestry}}. 

It is used for both general ancestry and for the 19 people groups listed on the sticker help page.

This sticker can be used on any profile for anyone in the world with African ancestry. It is especially useful when the specific location in Africa is unknown. In the future country-specific stickers will be available. Currently, South Africa is the only country represented. 

There have been questions about what the African American sticker should be used for. {{African-American Sticker}} This is a USA-specific sticker meant to honor US Black heritage and the US Black experience. It should not be used worldwide. In the future, we will have additional Black heritage stickers for other countries. We have also recently updated the wording on the sticker to better reflect its use.

I did know this, but i could not help myself, I am always amazed at the history of  ancient human migration, how some of us left Africa and managed to get as far away as  Australia and South America all mostly by foot and by   boat trips.

For many years now, when people ask me where do I come from, I often say Africa. When they then ask when did I leave, I say about 70,000 years ago. ;-)

Congrats on finishing this, Emma! It looks great!

I predict that you will have requests for quite a few more African groups (there are many, many more!) and also for the option of listing more than group. If this becomes a burden, you may want to consider making that part of the template free-form, rather a fixed list.

Yeah, I was trying to keep it simple to start with because we don't have the Africa project built to the point we can support a wide range of stickers and uses yet.

Is there a Heinz 57 sticker? I have the UN as ancestors.
