Do we need another category for an African-American section of a cemetery? [closed]

My current subject, Albert Massey, (just 8 degrees from me!) is buried at the "Rehobeth Cemetery African American Section" in Norphlet, Arkansas as stated by Find A Grave.  WikiTree already has a category for the Rehobeth Cemetery that I could use.

Find A Grave has both the Rehobeth Cemetery, with 917 profiles, and the Rehobeth Cemetery African American Section, with 185 profiles.

Should we create a new category for that African-American section to reflect Find A Grave, or just put everybody together?  There are a number of Massey graves

HI Bartley,

Hopefully they will pipe in, but Denise and Nat have the current info you need for this question.

Cemeterist Project requires that we create cemetery categories for entire cemeteries, not sections, no matter how Find a Grave sets up their cemetery memorial pages. We did have some categories for African-American sections of cemeteries for a short time, but they are being deleted, and I'm not sure if that is complete yet.

Yes, everyone is grouped together in one cemetery category.

Lunenburg Cemetery in Izard County, Arkansas has a separate category for slave burials.  I've been trying to clear the cemetery reports problems in that area, but it is an empty category and we have no names to put there.
Thank you Natalie!  Good info.

Hi Bartley,

Since Rehobeth Cemetery has an African American section, create a FSP for Rehobeth Cemetery (African American Section) and list the 185 African-American profiles on the FSP. Add the cemetery category to the FSP and the profiles.

Thank you!
