Question

Edward F. Hunter was born abt. 1846 in most likely Gates, North Carolina. We believe he was a confederate soldier having served with the 41st Regiment Virginia, Company I. See NPS. Edward married Mary “Mandy” Amanda Griffin October 4, 1866 in Gates, N.C. We have no date of death a source showing a Edward in Texas passing seems unlikely but possible. 

We need help finding pension record for him and any further sources to help in his genealogy.
