My Paternal Taylor line moved from Carter Co TN to Greene County TN in 1856.  Prior to that my autosomal DNA shows many matches to Andrew Taylor II (1765-1846) and Isabella McNabb (1762-1849) and their siblings, who immigrated to pre-TN from Augusta/Rockbridge County VA circa 1778, and from Ulster Ireland (either Antrim or Armaugh) circa 1740.

I have recently joined FamilyTreeDna and taken my Y-37 test (kit 947676), which says my predicted haplogroup is I-M253, and branches I-DF29 and I-Z17954.

I have also joined Gedmatch and uploaded both my paternal (kit AW9829405) and autosomal (kit GJ1025302) DNA.

I am also a new member at yourDNAPortal.com at userid: DAVef8119b8.

If you are a Taylor cousin descendant from Isaac Taylor (1710-1781), who migrated from Ulster Antrim/Armaugh to Augusta/Rockbridge Co VA circa 1740 or later to pre-TN Watauga (Washington/Carter Counties) circa 1778, I would like to share DNA kit #s, and see how our matches align.

Also, I would be happy to share Tree info as well, and can be found on Ancestry.com as userid: DWT70759 or Wikitree.com at userid: Taylorj-68529.

I am new to the DNA side but have been doing genealogy research on my families since the 1980’s and welcome all replies.

Thanks,

Dave

David,

James Taylor again, Taylor-71311. My DNA info is on my wiki profile and we follow the same family. My haplogroup is R-M269 and the dnaportal info is on wiki too.I'm new to doing the research also, as I explained prior, trying to tie up Robert Taylor to Andrew Greene Taylor. Anything I can do, just ask.

I FIT ALL YOUR "WHO HIT WHO", HOWEVER I HAVE ONLY ME MUM'S DNA. SHE WAS BORN IN HONG KONG, CHINA. DAD WAS MELUNGEON. A MIX OF CHOCKTAW/CHEROKEE (UNLISTED AS IT WAS BLOODED BEFORE LISTS) DOWN FROM OBAMA KIN FOR ABOUT FOUR GEN. I AM KIN TO POKY=HAUNT-US, I AM CONVIENCED. I WAS ONLY A NAME COLLECTOR, BUT A GOOD ONE. GGGMAW WAS WHILHOIT CHANGED TO WILHOIT/WILHART, CAUSE BACK IN FORT G.... (BRAIN = ?:) SHE MARRIED INDIAN (WILHOIT SITE STILL SAYS "NO WAY ANY FAMILY MARRIED  INDIAN!) NAMED McNABB AND WENT TO McMINN CO. TN (THE OLD CHEROKEE NATION EAST) DID NOT GO TRAIL OF TEARS.  McNABB WAS DOWN FROM "ROSE BUNCH TUCKAHO TRIBE" SHE ALSO MARRIED BUNCH/BUNDREN/MCNABB/100 OTHERS?:)

FORT GERMANNIA....SAPONI WERE THERE FOR SAFETY, BUT WERE ATTACKED, SOON COLONY PULLED SOLDERS BACK, SO SAMPONI LEFT. TWO BUNCH BRO. WERE MADE SAMPONI. BY THE WAY, THE CHEROKEE DID NOT LIVE FAR FROM SAMPONI ORIGINALLY. THEY MOVED WEST OF MOUNTAINS BEFORE TRAILE OF TEARS TO OKLA.

THE EYES ARE ABOUT GONE. BRAIN LONG TIME MISSING. SOUL HAS DENTS FROM RIDING THE RIVER IN THE RUNG SAT. :)

Hello, Cousin!

I, too, descend from Isaac Taylor, to Andrew Taylor, to Elizabeth Taylor who married David McNabb.

My Ancestry DNA kit #A669487. My wikitree is Davis-20659 and I am also on GEDmatch. Let me know if I can help.
