Notices on a wikitreers profile [closed]

I know we have templates such as {{Absent}} to indicate whenever we are going to be away from the site for a period of time

But...

If an active user writes a section at the top of their bio in a nutshell declaring that despite a situation/s outside of their control, they will do their best to respond to messages... Do you acknowledge this?

That's what I thought, however I've found that it doesn't work.

An example from personal experience: When I came down with pneumonia, a project was doing their check ins and I got removed because I temporarily inactive even after having that notification at the top of my bio...
