Have you looked at this profile in a while?  John Cogan is not connected as a father of that profile.  Both parents were removed by the PGM project in Feb 2019.  That profile is project protected, which requires the project team to make any relationship changes, such as parents.

The comments were posted to that profile in Jan 2019 and the parents were removed in Feb 2019.

I would post a comment on that profile, especially since it is a PGM protected profile.  They will have more knowledge of those profiles.

The biography states that his wife Anne was stated in his will. I think a comment on the profile needs to explain why you think she should not be a spouse. There is a section that her 'maiden name' is unsure, if that is your concern.

Linda, it looks like he did then accidentally (?) hit the "copy to g2g" option.  In either case, PGM has seen it.

Thanks Linda.  Yes my thought was that the only wife of John Bancroft-41 should be the Ann Unknown that is already listed as a wife.  Ann Coggins should be removed as I do not think that there is any reliable evidence that she existed.

Possibly they should be merged, if they are the same person.

Yes I think a merge is best and then several of the children would then need to be removed. Several of the comments in the children’s profile state that it is doubtful that they were children of this couple or that they even existed at all. I agree with those comments. A couple of the daughters may be correct. Johns will stated he had two sons and I think it was five daughters, unnamed in will.
