Research Notes

Caution on the FindaGrave listed below - more research is needed to determine if the Find a Grave memorial listed for John G. Grant and attached to his wife Elizabeth is actually correct. That FG could be attributed to a John Grant who lived in Halfmoon, same age, born in Ireland who only appears on the 1850 and 1855 census records. There is nothing in the burial transcription for this grave in Halfmoon that indicates who he is related or connected to. The John Grant of this profile lived in Milton and likely died there or somewhere nearby. Halfmoon, while in Saratoga County, is 20 miles or more, dependent on location within it, southeast of Milton.
