Jane Grant is a part of US Black heritage.

Jane Grant was born in Saratoga County, New York about 1801. She was the daughter of Jehu Unknown and Dinah Unknown. Jane is accounted for in the 1820 U.S. Census in the household of her father, Jehu. ^[1]

In the 1850 U.S. Census, Jane (age 45) was in living in Galway, Saratoga, New York.^[2]

In the 1860 U.S. Census, Jane (age 59) was living in the household of her brother Thomas Grant in Greenfield, Saratoga County, New York.^[3]

In the 1870 U. S. Census, Jane (age 70), is working as a Domestic Servant and living in Greenfield, New York.^[4]

In the 1875 N.Y Census, Jane was living in the household of her sister-in-law of Julia A Grant in Milton, Saratoga, New York, United States.^[5]
