Biography

Alexander Whitecross was born October 2, 1762, and baptised October 4, 1762, at North Berwick, Scotland. The baptismal record is indexed under "Corse", but a note was later inserted stating his surname is "Whitecross".^[1]

Alexander Whitecross and Barbara Brock were irregularly married at Edinburgh, with the marriage recorded at North Berwick on March 17, 1789.^[2]

Alexander and Barbara had several children:
