Isabella was baptised at Wilton in 1778 to Thomas Scott (1738-) and Isabel Renwick. [1] The family were living at 'Heap', Wilton. [2] She was brought up at Wilton.
She married William Sinton around 1800-05, probably at Wilton.
Six children are found in parish records, all male. The first was baptised at Ancrum 3 miles (5km) west of Jedburgh.
In the 1841 (June) census she was with William living at Castle Street, Jedburgh. Both were 62 years old.
As recorded on the headstone shared with her husband, Isabella passed away on 10 April 1849, aged 70 years.
