- There are two Donald MANSONs around the same area of NZ in the 1860s (at least).
Donald who married Mary Jane McKOWEN in 1866 at Nokomai, and Donald MANSON, husband of Barbara BARCLAY, storekeeper, previously goldminer, at Kingston, then Nokomai sometime between his arrival in NZ in 1859 and his marriage to Barbara in 1867 [5]
