Baptized 11 FEB 1838, Watten, Caithness, Scotland. Entry reads: 11 Feb 1838 Donald Manson in Coghill & Isobell McAdie his spouse, son born 12 Dec 1837 and bap 11 Feb 1838 named George before the congregation. IGI: s/o "Donald MANSON and Isabella McAdie"[2][3]

Married 14 DEC 1866, Halkirk, Caithness, Scotland

Died 21 DEC 1912, Wyndham, Southland, New Zealand. Note: George MANSON, farmer, aged 75, died Wyndham, 21st Dec 1912 of cardiac disease, debility and general weakness of 6mths duration. Last seen by E K EDIE, 19th Dec 1912. S/o Donald MANSON, farmer and Isabella, ms McADIE. Buried Woodlands Cem. 24th Dec, Evan Bissett, Presb. Born Watten, Caithness, in NZ 38 yrs. Married Watten, CAI aged 29 to Catherine FRASER. Survived by 3 males (45,42,36) and 1 female (40). Inf. W J CURRIE, son-in-law, Wyndham. Reg. H Edgar Depy Regr, 21st Dec 1912.
