Leona Kay was born on March 22, 1902, in South Carolina, United States, daughter of John Samuel Kay (1877–1925) and Annie Estelle McCall (1882–1966). [1] [2]
She married James Alice Rainey (1899–1947) on 14 May 1922 in Greenville, South Carolina. [3] [4]
After James' death she married James Rudolph Jenkins (1911–1969).
Leona died on August 20, 1971, in Greenville, South Carolina, aged 69. [5] She is buried in Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenville, South Carolina. [6]
