Biography

Peter Garden was born on 2 December 1841 and baptised 3 December 1841 at St Mary in Fochabers, Morayshire, Scotland. He was the son of James Garden & Mary Taylor. The sponsors at his baptism were Alexander Milne & Margaret Garden.^[1][2]

Peter married Jessie Forsyth on 28 January 1865 at Howcore, Tynet, Enzie, Scotland. At the time of the marriage he was a 23-year-old journeyman tailor living in Buckie in the parish of Rathven, Scotland.^[2][3]

He was the father of:

Peter passed away on 28 January 1916 at 257 High Street in Elgin, Moray, Scotland. He was 74-years-old at the time of his death.^[11]
