Robert Dawe was born in England.

Robert was born in 1834, and baptized in Charminster, Dorset, on 13 July 1834. He was the son of William Dawe. ^[1] He passed away on 24 November 1896 at 124 Victoria Ave, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales ^[2][3]

He married Eliza Jenkins Webb (daughter of William Childs Webb and Eliza Jenkins^[4] ) in 1872. ^[5](to be validated).
