She was the daughter of William Dawe, and possibly Elizabeth Phillips (1800 - 1875). Her mother's name was definitely Elizabeth.

She married George Voss (1823 - 1899)b. Dorchester. Marriage .08 Mar 1849 • Dorchester, Dorset, England. He was a seaman in the coast Guard (1861 Census)
